Tips on making a great video for Mom

  1. Get outside, in the early morning or late afternoon, for the best light. Dress the kids up in their Sunday best. Include your pets!
  2. Stay close to your kids, so you can record their faces clearly. A good benchmark is to get close enough so the camera frames their head and shoulders, but not their feet.
  3. Move around! Get close and then pull back. Make sure the kids wave and smile!
  4. Record a few videos, this gives you more choices for that perfect clip.
  5. If you need to edit your video, try Microsoft's Movie Maker on Windows, or Apple's iMovie if you use a Mac.
